Vedantu, an online learning platform, has completed its first acquisition in the edtech space, joining larger peers Byju’s and Unacademy in the purchasing spree.
The online learning platform has acquired Instasolv, a doubt-solving app for Class 6-12 students covering science, mathematics, IIT-JEE, and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
The deal adds close to one million potential active learners of Instasolv to Vedantu’s platform. Instasolv, in turn, will leverage.
"Last year, we took a strategic decision to invest in Instasolv to strengthen our play in doubt-solving, which is one of the key aspects of learning online,” Vamsi Krishna, co-founder and chief executive officer of Vedantu, said. “Through this partnership, we endeavour to change India’s learning curve through definitive outcomes.”
